well hello june and happy summer!

june is here and summer is just a few days away. hip hip hooray! so much anticipation is in the air. hehehe. last day of school, end of year parties and concert, ballet recital and summer break. lets do this!

kinsley's end of the year school concert. she did great...she was a brave girl and sang a lot!


in between all the activities.....a trip with mommy and daddy to target. only complete with popcorn and an icee. hehe


there's a new biker in town...and he's tough!


warming up for summer...this plastic pool only lasted one day before it popped and had to be returned. bummer for sure.

and the game/art closet got spruced up a little too.

lastly the fridge was stocked full for my always-hungry kiddies....


summer gifts for their classmates. can you tell kins cut her notes out all by herself?


last day in first grade...what sweet classmates sammy had! they made flowers and glued them onto pencils at my station and the students presented their class gift to ms. condee at the end of the morning. they played games and had donuts too! 


last day for kins in her 3-year-old preschool class...what an AMAZING group of little friends. so thankful most of them will be classmates again next year too.


home from the last day of school for a summer celebration...wahooooo let the fun begin! 


the party continued over to grammy's house next...fun eating a nice dinner and hanging out with their cousins


now we can spend all day everyday playing baby dolls...right? ask kinsley jane. hehehe


its ballet recital time....my hot pink girls were dancing beauties up there on stage. they rocked it! sammy did a tap dance to Material Girl and kinsley danced to In the Jungle. so fun!


first we had to sit through a very long and painful dress rehearsal. first it was pouring like i've never seen rain before. so by myself (because ty's work got rescheduled at the last second) and one small umbrella and we were DRENCHED getting inside. then the power went out which made for a long delay. thomas did his best...waiting and waiting and waiting hehehe


the big recital afternoon was a HIT..both girls did great and said they had a lot of fun backstage. love that Caroline and Kins got to dance together this year. such sweet friends. after the recital we met Aunt Nancy, Uncle Bill and baby T at Outback for dinner to celebrate. 

oh ps. this was the scene the day of the recital...the girls each took turns watching themselves dancing (from the video i took the night before at the rehearsal) and practiced over and over their moves. way to be dedicated girls. hehehe


and now let the summer fun begin....first playdate of the summer...with our favorite bud Elliot of course. (and sweet baby jill not photographed hehehe)
