hey june
with june came a big toddler challenge....potty training. yikes. i was putting it off for forever but knew the summer was the right time. didn't know how he would do. eeeek! first day he had no idea. second day he had a SMALL idea what was happening AFTER pee was everywhere hehehe and by the third day while he was peeing he would tell me. hehehe. by the end of the week we were on the right track. whew!! he surprised me with his slow start and we never looked back. proud to watch my baby take on big boy changes!way to go t!
here he is, mr. potty trainer himself. no interest in the train sticker chart. lots of interest in putting anything in the potty and trying to make it flush. and lots of interest in M&Ms. oh and his choice at the store to pick out paw patrol underwear

rugs rolled up, carpeted bedroom doors shut, pants off, salty snacks and lemonade. here we come pee-pees.

big sisters helping..

potty break in the car after a few days not leaving the house we were ready to go out in the world...diaperless. hehehe

no sitting on the new couch during his afternoon show...poor guy was flexible. ha!

getting some fresh air and taking a break outside for a little....potty training is hard work.

our first outing all together without diapers. i kept thinking please thomas don't pee pee on the tennis court. ha! everyone did great. we cheered daddy on in his tournament in fort myers. only problem was that it was SQUELCHING hot outside. ugh!
more summer fun....sammy mac was old enough this summer to try out Music Camp and a weekly Swim Team. She loved both! at music camp she learned the harp, recorder, bells and they sang and put together a musical. She had her first experience with a speaking part and she was excited to sing. swimming was awesome. three afternoons she joined her age group for a 30 min swim practice. she learned all the strokes and even competed in swim meets on saturdays. so special and exciting to experience new things through her eyes.

other summer happys......
corn on the cob on the porch...yay!

ice-cream after dinner...tried to see sunset but the rain showers got in the way.

afternoon workbooks and coloring

summer playdate fun!

celebrating 9 years with my handsome hubby. i couldn't ask for a more loving and caring husband. we celebrated near the beach where he proposed and had drinks, dinner and dessert at the different restaurants....ending where we had dinner the night he proposed. i can remember that night, my outfit, the roses, the rain, his face. i love you tyler.
