Christmas Day Brunch and Dinner...whew

Samantha had a busy Christmas Day with all of her family. After an exciting morning full of Santa presents and ripped up wrapping paper everywhere, we went home to spend the day relaxing and hosting our first annual brunch. Homemade waffles and egg souffle, chicken salad and fruit...yummy! Samantha's Grandpa Tom wasn't feeling very well but he made it and was glad to be together. The Manrings and Walmsleys all had fun eating and sipping mimosas. Later that evening we went over to Aunt Linda's for dinner and opened more presents with the Elmers and Fejes families. By about 7 Samantha had had enough and we went home to fall asleep early....sleepy and full of cherished memories. What wonderful families we are blessed to have so close by.
