Happy 2009

Happy New Year! Its 2009...really?! Its a little slow and sleepy around here today....last night we threw together a fun evening at the last minute. Dinner with the family at Stonewood was a delicious start and then everyone came back to our house for games and drinks. It was special to keep little Sammy up a little later and with all the laughter, noise makers and fireworks its a wonder she fell asleep at all. Wishing her a happy new year and whispering all of my dreams for the year ahead to her as she fell asleep in my arms was wonderful. I can't wait for what 2009 will bring us and all the hope and excitement that lies ahead. I love the fresh start of a new year and looking back at the year behind us. Here's to a new year.....watching Samantha grow and discover new things each day, cherishing the time we spend with our family and friends, choosing to make the most of each day and each moment, lots of laughter and kisses and pictures, more trips to the beach and the park and longer walks outside, and loving each minute with our samantha. oh how she makes everything full of hope and life and beauty.
