cinnamon broom time....wahoooo!
fall is here....hooray! and with it our house feels cozier than ever. our cinnamon broom makes it smell like fall and i've made Aunt Connie's pumpkin bread recipe three times already. now all we need is for the weather to stay cool!
we've spent the last few weekends happy to just be home. no plans. little projects to do around the house and lots of playing and being together. october 5th we finally had our first cool front....i had all the windows open and we spent all day playing in the yard, washing cars and bikes and colebaby and had a picnic lunch. have i mentioned how much i love being at home? hehehehe i love that i get to make it special and fun for my three too....playing with balls and scooters and sidewalk chalk in the garage with daddy or doing a craft inside or playing baby dolls or creating forts...i love watching them explore and be silly and enjoy our family time. its awesome how much they want the simple things right now and how great that is in the busy, hectic world we live in. just as important.... is calm (we're working on that with T hehehe) and healthy family dinners each night. the girls have gotten into setting the table and its fun to hear about everyone's day.
along with our routines at home....the soccer season began for sammy and halloween costumes were completed wahoooo(thanks mimi)
looking forward to the holidays coming up and enjoying the little things of the season.
happy fall from our new home (and big T and his geez)

this girl's love for her baby dolls melts my heart.....the way she cradles them and sings to them and thinks up such creative little stories.

her good behavior chart earned her a special afternoon with mimi and pop pop. yay!!

playing baby hospital and nursery and pretending we're taking them to disney world and oh that she's the mommy and i'm the helper. hehe

after dinner one night playing babies with uncle josh

every thursday I volunteer in sammy's classroom and then I join her for lunch in the cafeteria. she is so excited to have me there and that makes me the happiest mommy ever. (she wanted to try HOT lunch for the first time....chicken sandwich and chocolate milk)

fall festival at VLC...a really neat petting zoo!!!

playing library in the living room

saturday morning jammies and sticker books

stopping for a bagel snack before ballet class last week.

sammy's first half day, playing hopscotch and having extra time together was a nice break from her usual long school day

soccer begins! and daddy is the coach! U7 girls here we come!!!!!!!

the season had its jamboree kickoff and sammy played two half-games with bounce houses and snacks in between games. too bad it was sooooo hot. ugh! sammy ran and ran and was into it. not too many chances at scoring....and lots to learn...but her and her teammates all did great!

washing the car with our sweet neighbor, Hadley.
