sweet september is here

september is here and with it comes the adjustment of our new school schedule. its getting easier and less "new" now and it feels good to have settled into a nice routine. we know how long it takes to walk to school and how the lunches need to be made the night before for the morning to go smooth, afternoons are reserved for playtime and soon hopefully more outside time and everyone is worn out by 7:15 bedtime. whew! its been extra special on mon/wed/fri mornings to be just mommy and baby thomas. mondays we usually go grocery shopping and errands and the last few wednesdays we've gone to the museum or played at the playground and fridays we go to my gym. i love being able to slow down and spend time with just him. listening to what he wants to do next and going at his pace. funny how different it feels. sooooo here are the last few weeks....here's to another new september school week and hopefully its full of learning and happiness and cooler weather. (maybe just a little cooler, pretty please?)

my big school girl....what a confident and happy first grader she is. she is working hard at school and playing hard at home and man at bedtime she is OUT. ps. sleeping on special sheets with her new baby doll. love my sammy mac.


his first experience with playdoh. he sat for FOREVER so intrigued and focused.

welcome baby Henry Charles....the next morning after a dinner party at our house and baby boy makes his debut. so happy for you Kevin and Kelly.

this guy sure does keep us busy....why does he love to steal the girls toothbrushes and worse when i caught him dipping them in the potty. eeeeeew! 


a girl and her hermit crabs....she could sit and talk to them for hours.


rainy day pick up for the first time in carline...these two took naps while i got to read, yes!


friday was teddy bear day for kins. she was pumped. this girl is one smart cookie....love you kinsley jane!


and of course the next day after i casually mentioned to ty how no one has been sick in so long around here....thomas wakes up with a mystery fever of 103 and no other symptoms. we spent all day at the doctor that day trying to get to the bottom of it but with no answers. thankfully his blood work all came back healthy. scary for mommy. sad sad day with lots of naps and snuggles.  there isn't anywhere else I would be but holding my babies when they need me. how thankful i am for that. xo
