Tom Manring Foundation 2nd Annual Tournament

more pictures to come soon but this past weekend Tyler and Eric and Josh hosted the 2nd annual Tom Manring Foundation tournament. It was an amazing weekend. the boys put so much into organizing the tournament of 56 players and the dinner/auction the night before. it went really smooth. i was so glad to be able to help too…making the player gift bags, welcoming everyone at the welcome/check in table at the banquet and helping collect the money during the auction. samantha decorated a donations box for the event and it was a very special night. there were about 180 people there that night for dinner. it was amazing. tyler gave a beautiful speech explaining the foundation and honoring his dad. eric did a super job auctioning off the teams too. Tom would be so proud of all three of them. all of the money raised will go to a tennis student's college at FGCU. hooray! saturday's tennis was the most beautiful weather. cool and sunny. this year it was held at naples bath and tennis and it felt really connected and special. all the players had fun and they served a nice lunch outside. the girls had fun running around and thomas too. i am so proud of my husband. what a special tribute to Tom and his legacy. so important for our family. family is everything. we miss you Tom. the girls pray for you all of the time and you are always on our mind. it always feels so strange to me when i'm at a tennis event and you are not there. you were always there. we love you and miss you so very much.
