half way?

hello there Thomas! its your mommy and daddy! we can't believe you are six months old already...HALF WAY through your first year! how can that be? we love watching you grow and we kiss and hug you as much as we can every single day. you are the happiest baby...always playing and making dinosaur sounds and smiling and clapping. you LOVE to clap. at six months you tried your first foods besides mommy's milk. you tried cereal but didn't really like it. next you tried sweet potatoes and peas and apples. i made them for you and you did a great job opening your mouth and eating them all up. you are sitting in a big boy high chair now too. your smile is contagious and you have the BEST laugh. especially for your sisters.they make you laugh all of the time. you like to play in your packnplay or on the floor with all of your musical toys. the best is when nemo or cole walk by and you stare at them. Thomas Wilson you are so loved. your family always wants to hold you and your sisters always want to just squeeeeeze their "mushy boy or bubby boy". when daddy reads you stories in the rocking chair you get so excited. we are still hoping and wishing you will figure out how to sleep longer at night. Mr. T we don't know why but you want to wake up every three hours and have milks. boo. we are sleepy! your cry is VERY loud when you want something and so mommy takes good care of you in the middle of the night even when she is so so tired. soon you will sleep better, right? you do a good job taking naps during the day in your crib. your coos and baby sounds when you first wake up are the best. another special milestone you've reached is that you can sit up all by yourself now. we are so amazed! what a strong boy you are! we love your smooth baby skin and how good you smell. what lucky parents we are!!!

after your six month checkup you were worn out and sad from all the shots. you had a healthy checkup and weigh almost 18 lbs. you were in the 75-80% for your height and weight.
