fathers day, a special visit and the fourth of july

here is catch up post #2...and then we will be back on track. (i hope hehe)

father's day 2013. we thought a lot about tyler's dad. we had always spent father's day at his house, kayaking or swimming or just hanging out. it is an empty feeling to miss him so much. we carefully made sure tyler's day was full of together time. full of smiles and hugs to remind him just how wonderful of a daddy he is. i knew he would be the BEST daddy when we were dating. it makes my heart swell when i see how much he loves our three babies. we celebrated father's day with a trip to the water park, a new experience. so fun! and we ended our day with the tradition of a big lobster cookout to celebrate my amazing dad. someone i've looked up to and loved so dearly my whole life.

next up in june was a visit from my BROTHER!!! wohoooo! Uncle Blake and Aunt Mandy came for a few days to meet baby Thomas and hang out. we had beautiful weather for beach and pool days and lots of fun playtime in between. there is nothing better than all being together at my parent's house.




happy fourth of july!!! ready for another tradition (yup i love them!) we met up at Germain arena for the night before the fourth fireworks. this year we were a little too close, we had to take quick shelter during a rain storm and baby t wasn't as happy as he usually is.... but everyone had a good time and it was festive.


and we spent the DAY washing the car and playing outside at home...nice to take it easy and all be together. then we headed to aunt lindas for a cookout and to the beach for fireworks. such a happy day celebrating our red, white and blue!
