playing at home
one day i will look back at all the pictures of our everyday afternoons and moments at home and wish i could go back in time. i'll wish for how simple it was to have fun together and how fulfilled they were being with me at home. i don't want it to ever end....
we do a lot of playing at home. most days we turn a regular day with no real plans a day full of fun adventures with toys or baby dolls or paint. we make tents and have tea parties, dress up a lot, have pony shows and dress and undress baby dolls. we watch max and ruby, doc mcstuffins and daniel tiger's neighborhood on tv. we have milk and cookies, popsicles on the porch, apples and peanut butter and monkey smoothie snacks between playtime. the girls love to paint and color and glue. i love samantha's voice when she's playing pretend. i love kinsley's eyes as she watches her sisters every move. we play memory and hide and go seek and candy land.
the fun is endless....(and tiring and messy but thats not the point right hehehe) the point is we love being at home. and I really want to savor it all.
i love that my three sweet peas just want to play and be silly and dance and cuddle....and that i get to do it with them each and every day. its simple really. and that simplicity makes me smile.
i wish and hope for many many more days just like these ones and i forever treasure these magical moments of their beautiful childhood......
