an emotional weekend

a weekend of happiness for three very special reasons....Carly came to meet baby Thomas, we held the first annual Tom Manring Foundation Tennis Tourney and Thomas was baptized.

The Tom Manring Foundation Tennis Tournament
the boys worked weeks upon weeks putting together the memorial tournament in honor of Tom. they had twenty five local pros matched with amateurs ready to play at Cambier on Saturday for the tournament after a fun evening of dinner and auction. in honor of their dad the tennis community came together to remember him and to raise money for a local tennis athlete. it was an amazing feeling...the sense of everyone coming together for such a special and emotional reason.
i just know tom is so so proud of his three boys looking down from heaven.....

Thomas Wilson's Baptism Day
after a loooooong tennis day, the next morning we woke up early for the 7:45 am service at our church for Thomas's baptism. Lauren and Phil were there as his God parents and he wore my brother's baptism outfit. Nothing more special....





we got there JUST IN TIME for the service to begin and I knew it was time to feed him but with the baptism happening at the very start of the service I didn't have time. Somehow he didn't mind after all and was patient and calm and totally into it. his look with Pastor Lee was priceless. thank you Pastor Lee for baptizing all three of our little blessings!
