Easter goodness
there is just nothing like making the holidays special for my two sweet peas.....i love it. planning ahead and staying up late baking and putting everything together, laying out their dresses and little pale pink tights. mostly its the anticipation of seeing their faces...full of joy and wonder.
i want our holidays to be extra special. to be full of happiness and comfort.
because the bottom line is....our children only get one childhood. (and its slipping away faster each year)
sooooo yesterday's Easter was a beautiful day. full of what makes holidays so precious to me. traditions with family and lots of big smiles!
Easter Egg fun at school with friends....

an impromptu egg hunt with our favorite neighborhood family across the street....

just thinking about how that tall, beautiful girl standing in the middle used to be a little four year old preschooler when we first moved here. (the same age sammy is now) man time flies by!

looking in Mommy's pocketbook for a clue...kinsley followed her big sister and craned her neck looking all over, doing just what sister was doing.
a festive holiday lunch at Grammy's house next on the list of fun....pretty table all set, sprinkle cookies from Aunt Connie, kids running everywhere and boys cheering on the Masters. yay!

after the hunt the girls went inside to count their eggs and we stayed outside just a little bit longer with Nanny in the driveway and the cool breeze....breathing in all the goodness around us.

(sweet cousins)
and finally our day was complete with Aunt Linda's annual egg hunt outside, big ham dinner and Eppers too. the same traditions from when I was little.
love our Nanny

you are a beautiful mom.... maintain it!!!
I love the matching pj's and dresses! The girls look so cute. What a special Easter you made for them.
can't believe how big Kinsley is! She has certainly blossomed into this little toddling girl (still with baby checkers!).
Looked like another wonderful celebration!
