d is for disney

we are back from a quick road trip to the happiest place on earth....

we saw smiles like these ones....big and bright and giggly....

we wore new hats to keep the blazing sun off of us....

we had silly kissing contests and lunches/snacking that included everything from coke floats to chinese noodles and popcorn...you name it we ate it.

we watched shows....kinsley enjoyed nursing during the shows and sammy's eyes were so BIG with wonder

we found our own place to stretch out....this crazy almost ten month old was ready to crawl and stand

we cuddled....






and we begin Day 2 - good morning wave from kinsley jane....hotel breakfast(a highlight for samantha...unlimited choices, apple juice, the cereal dispenser....who knew?)

we road on boats....vans, trains, the monorail

and most importantly....we took in all the magic of disney.

(samantha remembered lots from our first trip back in march...on the top of that list was meeting the princesses. to see the excitement on all the little ones around us and then to reassure our nervous-but-excited sammy mac and hold her hand as she studied the beautiful princesses...it was very special.

we stopped to hydrate....

we took our turn on all the rides....in the afternoon we cruised through short lines and leisurely crowds

(ps. did i fail to mention sammy came down with my head cold the morning we left...oh the timing!)

and we had fun, just the four of us. see you next month mickey mouse!
