lots of good stuff....
lots of good stuff these past few weeks....fun with family and a few new experiences for my little sweet peas too. so much love and happiness and that is the kind of childhood tyler and i are determined to create for miss sammy mac and baby k!
fun at the tennis courts and the park with her favorite primo

rainy afternoon....so we spent it watching The Sound of Music and eating popcorn...sammy was entranced by all the beautiful music... (ps auto timer on my camera didn't use the flash but i sure do love this picture)

a very new and a very special experience for my grown up girl...her first dance class....and believe me there will be more blog posts and pictures and sappy emotions about this one. man on man how i've dreamed of having a ballerina daughter.

she loved her ballerina bun hairdo too...her first class went great. her daddy held her hand and led her into the studio and then she was off with her dance teacher and the seven other little princesses. she followed directions and followed along....and stared off checking out her classmates too. half way through the class she came running out to the waiting room, in front of all the parents, and says...all confidently and big-girl like..."i neeeeeeed my tap shoes mommy". tyler and i just looked at each other. so cute!

and another new adventure on the homefront....baby kinsley's first vegetables....mashed sweet potatoes and baby pea puree

at 6 1/2 months she ate her first vegetable...baby pea puree. do you think she liked it? hmm....not really. but she didn't cry or argue. hehehe

and miss kinsley jane at six and a half months has another new trick....she's shocked us all with her new pre-crawling exercises. all of a sudden she is DETERMINED and is constantly getting up on her knees. for so long she has been my little newborn but this past week things are changing.....

and most recently the good stuff continued as we traveled to orlando for a quick trip for Mandy's bridal shower. my mom, aunt nancy and the girls and i drove up early early saturday morning to get to the festivities. the girls did a great job traveling and were scooped up as soon as we got to Mandy's friend's house. it was elegant and special and very exciting to help celebrate.
samantha loved helping mandy open the presents and was a good helper putting all the wrapping paper in the trash bag

and the trip ended with a relaxing sleepover at one of my very best friend's house...gotta love watching your friends cuddling with your babies. (ps thanks beth for posing in your pjs so early in the morning, hehe)

here's to lots more good stuff for everyone....good friends, good family, and good memories.
