lots of little things and lots of pee pees
this past week we declared potty training week and we stayed home as much as we could. after weeks of rushing and "being somewhere" it felt refreshing and exciting to just be able to stay home and relax. we knew samantha was ready to take the next step and so we said bye bye to diapers and pull ups (except for at night) and she had lots of success wearing elmo panties or running around naked! no accidents all week and no tears. it was finally all her idea and she knew what to do. but let me not forget how i attached that blue princess potty to my hip and we took it EVERYWHERE. it was never a room away and so it worked. here are some pictures from our week....lots of playtime and pool time and taking our time to enjoy the little things. its sort of a nice break to not have to run crazy errands and pack up and unpack and who needs extravagant plans every day? thanks to all of our friends and family supporting little sammy mac in her potty efforts..horray!

hanging out playing puzzles...

i find her many times throughout the day up on her bed with a different book....

splashing in the kiddie pool in the front yard....

and taking a quick pee pee break in the driveway. hi neighbors. hehehe

spent the morning at the beach....yeah thats the potty in the corner there too. would have had more pictures but then realized my camera battery was dead.

cooling off in our pool with daddy and cole

dinner at our friend's house....talk about delicious food and a fun night together.

and of course we were more than glad that they are in the same potty training stage so out came the potty to our dinner party...hehehe! way to go girls!

texting while pee peeing....

a last minute trip to dairy queen one night....

and there....a very proud little girl and one full sticker chart. way to go this week samantha!

playing with her new bath time baby doll that she got for finishing her potty chart

here's to another great week ahead of all the little things i love about summer and wishing lots of potty luck to our other little friends that are trying just like sammy cakes.

Yay! Go Sammy! From what I could tell when we were over, she is as determined as her Mama to make sure she goes on the potty! Love her happy and proud smile in these photos!!! xo :-)
Hooray for Sammy Mac! She looks so grown up. I love all the pictures and the potty close by.
