17 weeks along and thinking happy thoughts
as the daily afternoon thunderstorms have made our home a little more cozy and relaxing this week i have found myself reading or napping away and starting to embrace my pregnancy. its been such a whirlwind and i find myself thinking so much about samantha and daily to-do stuff. plus besides my growing belly i don't have any other pregnancy symptoms. a little more fatigue but i feel like myself, whew! thankfully the quiet afternoons that i've settled into have allowed me to put my feet up and do some reading and research..... i started back into prenatal yoga each week....i cleaned out the nursery and its on its way to being baby ready again. little newborn diapers and burp cloths and blankets pulled out of the closets....oh and the way samantha pats my belly and wants to talk about her baby sister or brother to be. i realized it was about time i started to enjoy this pregnancy like i did last time and do a better job taking care of myself. i loaded up on fresh fruits and veggies, drinking lots of milk and water and v8 juice again and really starting to visualize our tiny baby growing. i am convinced i feel the tiniest little flutter on the right side of my belly each night and can't wait for more movement. here's to all of my pregnant friends and wishing them a healthy, restful night's sleep. goodnight!

our first preparations....tyler and sammy and i put together the baby's cradle.

16 weeks baby bump this time around compared to the next picture which is just 15 weeks along when i was pregnant with samantha.....

back to prenatal yoga each week...even though it will never compare to the personalized class i took when i was carrying samantha, i just feel glad to be going and doing something for myself and to prepare for labor. the pic below was in the newspaper during my last pregnancy. thats me closest to the camera...
