spring break where are you?
its been over a week since i posted something new and i didn't take near as many pictures as i had wanted to over the past few days. something about daily life when it catches up to you and there just isn't enough time to do it all. sort of like when leaving for work way behind schedule, yet another morning, i found myself with half of my hair dripping in Ensure chocolate drink as i guess i had dipped my hair in my morning drink while climbing into the car. you know balancing my giant school bag, lunch bag, keys and a cell phone that is almost always running low on battery. so i was reminded of that with crunchy, chocolaty-tips in my hair all day and wondering if this was only the beginning of another hectic day. how does it get to this...laundry piles that you could get lost in, a to-do list that is mary poppins sized and all of us swirling around each other with places to be. yikes. thankfully my little sweet pea is nothing but her usual happy self, enjoying her simple, everyday things. she is our constant reminder to SLOW DOWn and to laugh and see the beauty that surrounds us. we had a lot to celebrate this weekend...which started with a special dinner for the three of us to celebrate a good week in real estate. after how hard tyler works i was thrilled to hear all about his closing and catch up. samantha sat happily through our long, leisurely dinner and loved her lo mein meal and coloring. we continued the celebrations when we welcomed the first day of spring on saturday with a brand new lawn. (before and after pictures to come soon, promise) this was a long time coming and with a lot of hard work by my hubby. thanks dad for all of your work on our sprinklers too. we spent all day outside hanging out in our new yard. a special wish sent out to my dear friend anna ruth, as we celebrated her birthday with a girls night out and to my friend kelle as we gathered for her new baby girl's baptism on the beach. we were glad to enjoy our usual sunday night dinner at my parents house too. yummy seafood and lots of fun. big weekend, big plans, big smiles. here are a few photos....oh and a few new favorites from sammy girl....when she sees something new or wants something she holds out her hands out stretched and says have it, ammy mac have it pease, whenever she puts on a dress she has to twirl and say princess, how she always says daddy fix, broken when something needs batteries or breaks. her continuous love for otions (lotion) and how i can't pick up a chapstick from anywhere in our house or car without already dug out holes by her little fingers in it....hehehee
we are so proud of you tyler
taking care of her big brood of babies...all of them had poopies as she declared that morning

Spring break is coming soon! I love seeing Samantha with her babies and taking care of them like a mommy. She has learned what to do from the best.
I'm impressed that Sammy can sit through a whole dinner out! Can you please have her talk to Johnathan? Love her green dress! So pretty! I don't think you should ever grow out of spinning in dresses and skirts! So fun! xoxo
