fall-ing in love!

oh how the time flies by and oh how my baby girl sure has grown up. its crazy to compare these two pictures, exactly one year apart, and to see how much sammy girl has changed and grown. my heart aches for her little babyhood that is disappearing more and more each month. the first pic is last October in Tennessee as she posed for her fall card(5 months old) and the latest picture is from her fall photo shoot last week (almost 17 months). as i got her dressed in her different fall outfits (big girl outfits of course, jean skirt, real shoes and a trendy toddler poncho...more pics to come soon with the poncho, ha), and i watched kelle give her directions and take her picture all big-kiddish (you know without my help) i just felt a little sad at how fast time really has to go by. this is why we take pictures EVERY step of the way, EVERY first moment and i scribble down notes in her babybook and blog away my feelings....
fall is officially here...you know with that big first cool front thats supposed to come this week and turn the temps down from 95 to 90...ha ha...but really inside our house you'd never know. we put out our autumn decorations and i'm burning my pumpkins spice candle and sipping crisp apple cider. ahhh i love it! i can't wait to share this all with samantha. here's to making the most of this fall season with my baby-turned-toddler. wohoooo!!!!!!!!!!
5 months old in chilly tennessee visiting tyler's cousins and on our way to a mountains
samantha posing with apples and haystacks and pumpkins too....more pictures to be posted soon. thanks again kelle for the beautiful pictures!
