afternoon picnics, birthday parties and showers....

afternoon picnics at home, uncle eeeeee's birthday party, baby showers and funny faces...talk about a busy weekend. a little too full but still nice to be with samantha every part of the day. enjoyed a nice family get-together to wish samantha's uncle E a happy birthday. she had so much fun playing and stayed up late with style...

on sunday we headed to a baby shower where samantha was invited to play with her little baby friends from our yoga group. catalina was surprised by the party and overjoyed to have us all together, celebrating her soon-to-arrive baby Nicolas. we're thinking maybe she's starting the boy trend now since we all had girls the first time around. 

in between celebrations we baked our first pumpkin bread of the new fall season, ate a picnic lunch outside, took a much-needed afternoon nap and had donuts on the way to the grocery store with daddy. busy or not i was just relieved to be with my sammy girl and my ty guy. 

here's to the countdown to next weekend....(its not too early to ask for it on monday, right? ha)
