i luv summer

samantha has been a busy little bee this past week with her social calendar full and lots of plans to look forward to. this week's motto was to make the most of our time together..... so we did just that. we played extra hard at home with her babydolls and blocks and tried on her big-girl dresses to see how they fit. we had lots of playdates.....at my aunt linda's house for lunch one day, to the beach with her little group of girlfriends, to the water spouts at the park and to the library. samantha also went to a very special birthday party for her friend adriana who just turned one. it was a lot of fun especially with a surprise visit from a real, beautiful fairy. sammy wore a pretty tiara and got to bring home a beautiful fairy wand. the real hit was all the fairy food and being with her friends. after such a fun week i just don't want it to end...even though i know august is right around the corner (yeah i know...its tomorrow, it still hasn't hit me yet!)....we are still soaking in all the summer goodness!

samantha says hi to the fairy princess who was all dressed up and so pretty!
the goldfish buffett was a hit.....yum!
All the little girls at Adriana's birthday party
splish splash, loving the water spouts

playing with peyton and johnathan
mid-week beach playdate with her favorite group of girls...adriana (birthday girl), sydney, samantha and sofia was there too. (plus elizabeth who wasn't able to make it)...the 5 girls have all turned one now and have been playing together since they were first born! so fun to watch them grow up together.
a trip to the library one afternoon....coloring at the big kids table

reading a few books and checking out all the fun things at the library...

Love the pictures. I can't believe she is big enough to get a hair cut. She is such a doll.
