fall 2015---the beauty of an ordinary day
and so the school year began and our days rolled into weeks and we rolled with the to-do lists and activities and in-between quiet time at home. i look at these pictures, just a few months ago now, and i have a lump in my throat. these are the exact moments i live for...taking care of my family, being together, watching them learn new things, helping them grow and love and spread kindness.....working so hard to make their childhood the best it can be.
photoshoot for tyler and eric's real estate advertising...a beautiful early morning at seagate beach.

kins was so excited to be chosen to bring their class teddy bear home, hi Theodore!

and sammy was chosen for the first monthly character kid in her class! citizenship! yay!

soccer started...kins played for the first time. i knew this would be a big challenge. but she was 100% dedicated (even when she couldn't make herself participate she never wanted to give up) thankfully we ended up on a team with the most patient and awesome coach and she had a few of her girlfriends from preschool on her team too. it couldn't have been a better first experience. took a lot on our part to have patience when she struggled...and she struggled a lot. she refused to go through the line at the end of each game giving high-fives to the other team, she struggled to want to kick the ball at first although she ran with her teammates the entire games. the first few practices she watched a lot but then practices became her shining moments of kicking and participating and totally loving it. so proud of our kins.

sammy was stoked to have her daddy as her coach for the second year and to have a few familiar friends on her team too. they learned so much and were wining games by the end of the season. sammy was an awesome defender and had some great moments and had fun through it all!

first spirit shirt Friday at school!

more fun with my loves.....
