merry merry christmas continues...2014
christmas eve is one of the most magical parts of christmas. the excitement and wonder of the day ahead, the joy to be together with family and to carry on traditions. wow.
especially this year, our first year in our forever home. in the neighborhood ty and i used to experience christmas in as kids and now.... as parents. it was unreal.
so thankful for health and happiness for our whole family. there is nothing more important.
christmas eve, samantha was chosen to be the star in the nativity scene during the service.

christmas eve luminaries...scooping the sand and filling the bags. i can remember when blake and i would help my dad.

good morning, Christmas. what a magical view. we waited anxiously for the littles to wake up, they woke up at their same usual time of 7:00. =) sammy came through first...she was quiet, starring and the look on her face was precious. kins came through a few minutes later bouncing in with a big, SANTA CAME! and she climbed right on the new bike she saw. Thomas was carried through last when he woke up and he was a sleepy head, needing "a nack and drink" and snuggling with daddy for a little first. =)

new bikes from santa for both girls. sammy has been riding with no training wheels since she turned five but her old bike was getting short. this new bike is a really big kid bike and she needed help getting up on it but she was a pro. kins has never had a bike and was thrilled with her new FROZEN bike. both girls opened bike seats to be added to their bikes for their baby dolls too. sweet!

"cheeeeeeeze" thomas played with this very first gift for the majority of the morning, uninterested in opening other gifts. hehehe.

the only thing she had asked santa for was rapunzel squinkie set. yay!

probably my most favorite part of the morning was when sammy handed out the gifts she had chosen on her own at her school's holiday house. the pride in her face was priceless. she chose a sparkly jeweled crown for her sister, a race car for thomas, a necklace for mommy and a #1 dad gift for daddy. so sweet.
after a quiet day in our jammies playing with all of the new christmas gifts we had a nice dinner at aunt linda's and home to sleep. merry christmas. we feel so blessed!!!
