playtime, projects and painting

as january comes close to an end i have to say its been a busy month of fun adventures. we've enjoyed the cooler weather with lots of outside playtime and wearing our cozy pants and slippers. samantha and kinsley are playing a lot more together these days with kinsley wanting to do everything her big sister does and samantha finding lots of ways to include her. sigh of relief.

besides all the playtime fun we've been busy at home organizing and doing all of our new year projects. we washed cars and reorganized the garage bins one day, cleaned out cabinets and made piles of things to donate another day, we had a painting fairy (thank you Pam!!) come and paint our "green room" which is now officially GREEN. we dusted and washed and put away the snowflakes and snowmen. and the girls closets have a place for everything now that is easy for them to use. ahhh...an organized home makes me very, very happy!

sammy's closet project....

now she has a place for all of her things that are too small for kinsley...a box for her ponies, tiny princesses, and little critter family. that way kins can't get to them but sammy can easily pull it out to play with up at the table or on her bed.

and we reorganized her storage bins so now its safe in case little sister sneaks in and there is a place for everything so sammy can put things back herself. yay!

now that the house projects are completed and we are back into the swing of our weekly schedule it feels good. feels smooth and productive and comforting. the girls and i make each day special and that makes me happy as a mom. and all day every day we are sending pictures to daddy and thinking of him so he feels our love and knows how proud we are of him working so hard with real estate and tennis.
