our little monkey turns ONE

this little baby of mine......

is now a ONE YEAR OLD.....

and no matter how hard i try....

she just keeps growing bigger and more beautiful!

and just as every first birthday party should be....we celebrated all the way. pink polkadots and cute monkeys everywhere....friends and family everywhere.....and big, big one year old smiles for Kinsley. it was such an extra special day and one of those times you look around and feel just so thankful to have your friends and family all together and there to celebrate your healthy, happy birthday girl. thank you so very much to everyone for the phone calls and messages and gifts and extra birthday hugs. kinsley is so loved.

party girl just waking up from her nap as everyone was arriving...

and then the big moment...we crowded around to sing happy birthday for the first time. she took it all in looking around and staring at her monkey cake. and then she gently dove in...mostly for the nilla wafer cookie topped with a little bit of chocolate icing that she took off to eat.



















later that night after bath time and a little cleanup, we ordered pizza and opened her presents in front of the christmas tree...nice and relaxed and memorable. she was so into playing.

we love you our sweet baby k. your little personality and your big bright smiles bring joy to everyone around you. you are relaxed and content and you love to explore and walk everywhere. you love to carry things around and talk on the phone and play with colebaby. you love bananas and toast and pancakes and green beans. you change your mind about what you want to eat a lot and you are a great sleeper. you do baby sign language for more, up, all done, eat, milk, and even poop. you like to point to your nose and your belly and shake your head no. we love how much you cuddle with us on our shoulder and how you laugh so loud at your sister. here's to an amazing second year for you.....we love you to the moon and back forever and ever.
