a first halloween and lots of sweet and spooky fun
so a fair warning that there may be a few too many pictures in this post but....when it comes to holidays i just cant seem to get enough. i go over the top daydreaming about it beforehand and planning and thinking about all the details on how to make my girls' experience the best it can be. its just that these holidays only come once a year and it goes by so very fast.
happy halloween everyone and a happy FIRST halloween to my little kinsley girl. to think that last year you were still in my belly...one month left to go....and this year you are my almost 11-month-old holding pumpkin flashlights and wearing big girl sneakers and helping carve pumpkins. WOW!
this year...2011...sweet and spooky sisters....

reading halloween cards from their cousins

pretty sure you're not supposed to eat that kins...

sammy still wasn't thrilled to get her hands all gooey but still she did it. and little sister wouldn't accept sitting on the floor...she had to watch up close!

halloween-eve...brownie decorating with mimi while mommy put together goody bags for school.

happy FIRST halloween kinsley girl

a halloween costume parade and party at school, all of her classmates were so cute and proud in their costumes....i felt so lucky that i could actually be there (and not at work wishing i was apart of it)

my little dalmatian was so happy

diving into her pumpkin cookie that she decorated at her class party

our 6th annual halloween driveway party...festive and fun to be with family and friends. the usual menu...tyler's chili, fried chicken, (cole slaw. but i forgot it inside. oops) corn bread, caramel apples...yummmy!

the brave firefighter, the fire (tyler named my costume, red hot flame), our dalmatian puppies

Greek Pop Pop and his puppy sidekick

i spy the cutest little batman

ready to trick-or-treat

cousins having fun together

kinsley is always watching her big sister....

our neighborhood sits in their driveway to hand out candy with big decorations and table setups. samantha wanted mommy and daddy right there with her but was so brave to say trick-or-treat and thank you each time.

kinsley cakes getting loved on by her aunts

....and by her cousins

sammy's request to have a dalmatian puppy pumpkin...why not
