may days....

well May came and went in a blink of an eye....we celebrated a ton of very special birthdays, went to a wedding in new jersey, took our first couple of trips to the beach just the four of us and a whole lot more. unfortunately i did not take as many pictures as i would have liked but here are the random pics from the past month.....

my little sidekick....most days around dinnertime kinsley prefers just to be held and carried around...no more playing or rolling or swinging or sitting....

a very special 60th birthday lunch for my dad

samantha's end of the year preschool concert....her first time singing on stage and sitting with her whole school. she did great...she would sing for a little and then stare off for a little and do some hand motions for a little. hehehe. tyler and i were secretly VERY VERY excited about this experience. we sat right up front, smiling the whole time!

she knew all the words to the songs....her favorite was the sound of music's do a dear

at 5 1/2 months kinsley finally became interested in her exersaucer play area....

mom went to texas for the party and got to do lots of fun wedding planning with blake and mandy. the big day will be here in less than 2 months!

i'm pretty sure kinsley jane is one of the most easy-going little babies....its hard to believe it sometimes

and our little FISH is back....samantha had her first week of refresher lessons with fernanda, her swim teacher, and her confidence and skills came right back!



this past week kinsley found out she could ROLL as a mode of transportation....sammy saw this and said "maybe she's trying to go to her room?" hehehehe

june has begun and the start of a new month is always very promising. its the start of summer, the end of samantha's first year in preschool, our five year wedding anniversary, father's day and lots more fun memories to make. i'm excited about a summer of new goals....to start training for my first running race in the fall (only a 5k but you have to start somewhere right?), get back into the books on my nightstand and eat more dinners on the porch, finish sammy's three-year-old book (way behind!) and work on kinsley's baby book and soak up each hot summer day with my two princesses. wohooo!
