you are my sunshine....

last week was full of excitement when a very, very special cousin came to visit.....carly flew down for four, short but wonderful, days to meet Kinsley and see us. it.was.the.best! carly and i have always been close, like sisters and our bond is extra special now that we are both mommies. she has always listened and supported and cheered me on....from playing dress up and pretend office at our nanny's house to surprise visits in high school and getting real letters in the mail from her, late night phone calls from my college dorm about something dramatic, hehe....to standing up in each other's weddings....and now...well lets just say samantha didnt want to spend a minute with out carly and we all really enjoyed her visit here. thank you car for loving on my girls and coming all the way here! oh and thanks fisher boys for sharing her....we miss you terribly too.

and on another special note this past week.....our kissable little 9 week old has found her THUMB! all on her own she has become a real, true thumb sucker....doesn't matter where she is she is so entertained by her new talent. so cute to see...

you are my sunshine, my only sunshine....you make me happy when skys are gray.....

so this week we are getting back into our normal routine. lots of house work to catch up on and daddy is b for busy with work and tennis. i'm hoping to find a little more of a balance, personally, now that the excitement of having company last week is over and i've been wearing myself out cleaning and doing house chores. im going to do a better job at limiting my crazy to-do list and finding a little more down time for myself. whew!

soooo.....we are happy to have the windows open and have fresh air all around us. we're going on a lot of walks with colebaby. oh and baby kinsley is sleeping from about 8pm to 3 to 8am. its incredible! samantha is my big helper girl. yesterday we played "laundry fairy"and we folded and sorted out the mess of laundry piles that were about to take over. hehehe. my almost three year old sammy mac just cant get enough of kissing and taking care of her baby sister. she is so attentive and concerned and it is amazing to see......

i just couldn't love these two girls any more than i do...
