my loves

you know the saying it takes a village to raise a child....this valentine's day i am oh-so thankful for all the love our little village surrounds us with. when our work schedules overlap or our errands and to-do lists take over and we're pushed to the very limit...i go to my happy-crock-pot dinner-fresh gardenias-cozy living room- cheezy sing-along thoughts and i remember how much support i really do have all around me..... helping to shape samantha's childhood with warm memories and laughter and at the same time keeping me from falling apart . to know that when i'm not home sammy girl can be in such good hands...well this makes things a lot easier to swallow. thank you from the bottom of my heart to my uplifting little village....(i type this on a day that started with too many tears VERY EARLY this morning about having to have apple juice, a car that wouldn't start, cole mysteriously limping again and add on a training class that kept me from being home until 6:30. i asked for a do-over today, ha, but instead am positive tomorrow will be better)

so back on track....our valentine's weekend was full of love and candy hearts and red and pink lovey-dovey goodness. i was happily reminded of the true love tyler and i share....we made heart shaped pancakes together, went to church, exchanged our valentines over dinner and man do i love holding his hand. btw... go see that movie, VALENTINE'S DAy...sweet and funny and all kinds of great actors.
also loving how much i wanted to make valentine's day as special as possible for samantha. she is the face of our love. and to make her smile and make these moments shine...now thats a lovely feeling. xoxo

our homemade valentine's....sammy loved the glue stick and didn't want to give it up....

I love all the traditions you are starting for your family! You do have a great husband and I know from experience that that makes a huge difference in coping with the everyday chaos. Loved loving on

traditions are the best...they are so comforting to me as an adult, so i know our kids will feel the same when they are grown and carrying them on!

sammy looks so pretty in her dress!
