pumpkin patch and an early halloween celebration

the cooler weather got us all pumped for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch. with mimi and pop pop in for the ride we all went to pick out our pumpkin and have some fun outside. samantha LOVED running around through all the pumpkins and taking the tiny ones in and out of the baskets. guess you could say we kinda rearranged things there. hehehe. she found a baby pumpkin just for her room and we picked out a giant one to carve. at one point when i kneeled down beside sammy for a picture i looked around and it felt like we were at a real up north pumpkin patch. well besides the palm trees in the background. hehehe. we also got to have an early halloween celebration with our baby group. thanks shannon for having us over for such a perfect halloween get-together. she always has just the right table set up with yummy treats and decorations and its always a good time with five little girls all the same age playing together. ps. sneak peak on sammy girl's homemade ladybug costume.

oh how i love the holidays and making them even more festive and special for the baby girl.

checking this pumpkin out....her word for pumpkin is more like a puh-p sound but easy to pick out when she's pointing at pumpkins everywhere we go
