Mermaid Samantha

mermaid samantha is in her fourth week of swim lessons and it is absolutely amazing to watch. she is transforming each week into a floater and swimmer and is working so hard. sometimes she cries but she is a trooper. she loves her instructor and so do we. fernanda is just awesome and so qualified and sweet. the program was recommended to us from one of sammy's little baby friend who had just graduated from this same swim program. it is nationally recognized for its dedication to infant and child drowning prevention and safety. when i realized there was a certified instructor in Naples (the only one!) I jumped at this opportunity to teach samantha the importance of water safety. she is taught how to float on her back and swim a few seconds and then flip to floating and so on. Samantha loves the swimming and kicking and going underwater but is a little more resistant to learning how to float. she is coming along and i cant wait to take a video of her at the end of her class. i can't tell you how wonderful it is....if anyone is interested check out fernanda's website www.swimsafenaples.com or the national organization is called Infant Swimming Resource. yahhhh for our little mermaid!!
