splish splash

with all of the excitement and craziness around here with samantha's first birthday week, family birthday celebrations, mothers day and all kinds of busy things it is high time for a regular, quiet day of playtime with my little sammy girl. there isn't anything more fulfilling and nothing that i love more than spending a day at home together. i...love...it! we mix house chores with games and practice walking while putting laundry away, i bake muffins that fill the house with a homey smell while she's napping, we take colebaby on lots of walks (even though its getting so hot), i unload groceries while she organizes her tupperware cabinet in the kitchen, we read stories in the front living room and throw balls under all the furniture while she sings her little baby songs, we rock in the rocking chair and play musical instruments in her bedroom with her dollies, i sweep the floor too many times, ohhhh..and all of the other little in between things that make up a FULL day of motherly/daughter fun. i tried not to be sappy and to just post these cute pictures but its mother's day and her birthday and all of this post party letdown that i can't help myself but to just soak it all in, trying not to forget anything. (promise i'll get a grip soon, hehee) anyway, here are some pics from samantha's new water table that she got for her birthday from her sweet cousins Phylis and Steve. she loves splashing and playing and walking all around it. she gets soaked and so do i and so does colebaby....and that really makes her laugh. i see many hot afternoons playing with her water table ahead of us. yipppeeeee!
