nine months, no way

february 6th-our baby girl is nine months old today and there is just no way we could be any happier and more thankful for our healthy and very cheery sammy. we had a busy busy day and did our best to stay warm during the record low temps outside.

time flies when you're having fun.....here's to nine months....no way....already!

little samantha you are such a joy and you make your mommy and daddy very proud....you are crawling EVERYWHERE and moving fast...you'd rather explore and crawl than stay in one place these days and its fun to watch your strength and independence...you are now standing and pulling yourself up on everything...pulling up on the couches and the cabinets and our pant legs....you love to read books, especially the peekaboo/lift-the-flap-books and you love to empty your book basket or your diaper bag or your toy bin....you wave hi and bye and have just started pointing at things, your hair is growing in so nice(which means a barrette bow stays in now, hehe) and you have your fourth big tooth, you started your first gymboree class and you love to be chased...you are continuing to be a good napper and have become a sound sleeper at night(yippeee).....add in lots of wagon rides and the beginning of lots of snuggles and that is you, our little baby cheekers, that we can't kiss and love on enough.

sorting through her book basket...when she was done she found just the one she was looking for and took a lot of time 'reading' it
