Heart Walk 2008

Nothing better than spending a beautifully cool Saturday morning exercising for a cause. Saturday we spent the morning walking with 3500 other participants to raise money for the American Heart Association. Aunt Nancy invited us to walk with her and support her fundraising goals. Sure was a festive morning...cool air, matching shirts(love it), juicy oranges and apples and a loud countdown...and we were off. Our 3 mile walk through Old Naples was invigorating. A special moment knowing we are part of the solution to heart disease awareness and research...remembering both of my grandfathers and how heart disease affects so many.
