Baptism Beauty

Sunday, August 17th....Samantha's baptism day. It was a full day with lots of family to help her celebrate. We feel thankful that she will grow up with a loving family and  knowing that God loves her and thinks she is extra special too. At the church we were married in and that I was confirmed in...it sure does hold a lot of memories for us. Samantha was a dream and well, it was a really wonderful day for everyone. 

Just arriving at the church...Samantha is wearing the dress that I was baptized in along with my two cousins. With her new headband and booties she was all set looking like a million bucks. Funny how I thought to myself on the way there...will she be asleep or will she cry or be uncomfortable or too hot or get hungry...ahhh. But instead she was completely relaxed while her Daddy held her during the service and the baptism and even started smiling for the Pastor as he showed her to the congregation. Later she fell asleep as I held her in the pew....it couldnt have gone any smoother. wow!
ps. we didn't realize her little teething ring toy she was holding stayed pushed up on her arm during the whole baptism....guess it was hiding among her ruffly dress. hehehehee

She sure did ham it up here with big smiles for Pastor Lee. What a lovey girl. hehehehehee!
Here are the GODFATHERS...Josh, Blake and Eric. Her three uncles are proud to be her godfathers to help support her and cheer her on as she grows up.  We love you guys!
